I began my journey with First United Presbyterian Church in the early summer of 2019 after moving back to Oklahoma from finishing an enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. I had spent most of my life in Oklahoma and had previously lived close to Guthrie while working as a Loper and Ranch Hand for a nearby horse trainer.
My longtime boyfriend, Mat, and I are raising our young son in his childhood home just north of Guthrie in Mulhall. We are a small family with a big fur family which includes our two dogs, three cats, and four horses.
It has been such a blessing to work in the FUPC office. This congregation and FUPC family are such a loving welcoming group who were so kind and thoughtful throughout my chemotherapy and subsequent health scare. Now I am cleared, healthy, and excited for what’s to come within my own and the FUPC family.
