Grounded in the history of our community yet looking toward the future, First United Presbyterian Church of Guthrie is a caring family of Christians working together to move closer to God. Through worship, education, fellowship and service we have been part of our community for 125+ years and continue to search for ways to serve. Come join us, where you will always have a place at the table. First United Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
April 21, 1889 Presbyterians gathered to worship in Ark City, Kansas and plan a church in the new territory. The next day was land run day, April 22, 1889. We officially chartered on June 9, 1889.
