I joined First United Presbyterian Church as Office Administrator in the summer of 2019, shortly after transitioning out of the United States Marine Corps. During my service, I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, and completed a deployment with the Command Carrier Strike Group aboard the USS Carl Vinson. After my enlistment, I was ready to come home to be closer to family.
Church life has always been close to my heart. I grew up attending Tulsa Indian United Methodist Church, where my aunt served as both Office Administrator and Music Minister. That strong foundation in a faith community made finding FUPC feel like coming home.
My partner and I are raising our son in his childhood home, out in the country, east of Mulhall. We’re a small family with a big fur family—two dogs, cats, and a small herd of horses and cattle.
Working in the FUPC office has been a true blessing. This congregation welcomed me with open arms and supported my family through one of our toughest times—my cancer diagnosis after leaving the service. I’m now healthy, grateful, and excited for what lies ahead both personally and within our FUPC family.
